Default height of motor/angle of motor??help

Hello Guys,im On Koh Samui, thailand, and Have Been Repairing Ribs For A While,i Just Bought 3x 4.7 M Cats With Alluminium Floors And Stainess Steel Transoms.from China-1.2mm Pvc.i Have A Long Shaft 40 Hp Yamaha Enduro Motor-so I Had The Transoms Made 7cm Higher.the Transoms Were Very Vertical,so I Even Drilled Extra Holes In The Mounting Casing,as The Motor Was Throwing Water Into The Boat At Half-full Speed.
Whats The Ideal Measurements For 1- Height Of Prop In Relation To The Hijackers ,and 2=the Gap Between Transom And Leading Edge Of The Motor?
Any Help/pics Would Be Great.
If You Come To Samui Call Me-0813708638 Zap Cats And Fireworks,
Cheers
